My goal as a Licensed Professional Counselor is to join my clients on their therapeutic journeys as an ally, observer, and supporter. As a trauma focused therapist, I recognize the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship before beginning to address the issues that are being brought into the counseling process.

I am fully aware that each person that comes for therapy brings their present selves along with their unique past experiences, expectations, successes, hopes, strengths, and challenges. My hope is to be able to allow you to access your strengths and insights to overcome obstacles and become the person that you want to be.

I have many years of experience and training as a counselor working in the fields of addiction, community based mental health therapy, and assisting individuals with traumatic brain injuries. I have a history working with the Wounded Warrior Project alongside OIF/OEF veterans who have sustained traumatic brain injuries and trauma related to war and the transition home. I also have experience working with issues that include but are not limited to couples, families, PTSD, ADHD/ADD, anxiety, OCD, depression, grief and loss, spirituality,  LGBTQ+ populations, and individuals who experience unexpected life changes.

I am originally from and reside in the Pittsburgh area. I enjoy listening to and playing music, traveling, and spending time in nature. It is important to me to bring my professional and life experiences into my counseling approach in order to provide the most holistic treatment to those that I serve.
