I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania with 5 years of clinical experience doing group and individual therapy sessions. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Lock Haven University and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

I hope to use my counseling experience to help individuals who are struggling with their current life circumstances. I have experience in helping clients with adjustment concerns, stress and anxiety, relationship issues, depression, bipolar disorder, and trauma and abuse. I also have experience working with clients who have personality disorders such as Borderline Personality Disorder.

I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My counseling style is eclectic, meaning that I use interventions from many different treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also have an interest in using creativity to explore client concerns in counseling whether that be through writing or other forms of art.

I tailor every clients’ treatment plan to meet their unique and specific needs. My personality as a therapist has been described as being cheerful, friendly, patient, funny, and supportive. I am also open to feedback from clients as I value honesty and open communication. Receiving feedback from my clients helps me become a better therapist.

It takes a lot of bravery to seek help for your concerns so if you’re looking at my profile, know that you are already taking the next step! One of my favorite quotes by Seneca is “If one does not know to which port one is sailing, no wind is favorable.” Whether you have been in therapy before or this is your first experience with counseling, I plan to guide and support you on your way to a life that seems more fulfilling.
