As a licensed professional counselor, I believe that each therapeutic experience is unique and requires a special level of care and collaboration. My objective as a counselor is to provide each client with an experience that is tailored to their goals and hopes for their future. In my work with children, adolescents and adults, I address an array of life’s challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, phobias and OCD, behavioral concerns, interpersonal trauma, grief, relationship issues and life transitions.

Originally from Long Island, I found my way to Pittsburgh through my undergraduate work at Duquesne University, where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I have found my early classroom work to be incredibly informative in my experiences with young clients. After completing my undergraduate degree, I went on to receive my Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Long Island University.

I have several years of experience working in private practice where I helped individuals navigate the ever-changing landscape of their life. Although I customize my approach to each individual, my primary treatment modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure response prevention therapy, person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, meaning making approaches, and mindfulness techniques. I am also an ADHD-certified clinical services provider with experience working with all ages to manage ADHD symptoms. It is my hope that utilizing these methods will help clients leverage their existing strengths and values to challenge unhelpful thinking while at the same time developing self-confidence and maximizing their potential.
