Understanding Your Coverage
Before beginning therapy, we recommend contacting your insurance provider to understand your coverage details. Please consider asking the following questions:
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Our office staff is also available to help you navigate insurance questions. However, please understand that the coverage agreement is between you and your insurance company.
SELF-PAY OPTIONS
You always have the option to pay for services out-of-pocket if you choose to do so. This option might be preferred if:
You don't have insurance coverage
You don't want mental health services on your insurance records
You wish to see a therapist who isn't in your network
You've exceeded your covered sessions
Our rates are competitive, and we offer a sliding scale fee option for clients who qualify. Please contact our office for current self-pay rates and sliding scale eligibility.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
We accept the following payment methods:
Cash
Check (There is a $30 returned check fee)
Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express)
Cancellation Policy
We understand unexpected events can occur. However, your scheduled appointment time is reserved specifically for you.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please note:
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment and have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, there will be a $60 fee for a late cancellation (under 24 hours) and an $80 fee for a no-show
This fee must be paid in full before further appointments can be scheduled
Insurance companies do not reimburse for missed appointment fees
