Kelcie Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with teenagers (14+) and adults. She is passionate about working with individuals who are exploring or navigating their gender identity, sexual orientation, and related life experiences, and is currently obtaining certification to work specifically with people diagnosed with ADHD or questioning a diagnosis of ADHD. Her therapeutic approach is Person Centered, CBT, psychodynamic, with an eclectic approach to allow each individual to have the approach and modalities that are most useful to them and what they want to accomplish while in treatment.

With a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania (now known as PennWest), Kelcie brings 8 years of experience in addiction work, LGBTQIA+ competency and affirming care, training in OCD/Exposure Therapy, specific grief/loss training, and trauma-informed care. She also supports clients dealing with grief/loss, OCD/Exposure Therapy, anxiety, low self-esteem/confidence, self-identity/exploration, narcissistic abuse, and mental health nutrition.

Outside the therapy room, Kelcie enjoys watching sports with her family, exploring local parks with her dog and toddler, and finding the best places to get a twist ice cream cone with sprinkles! She is also a huge lover of The Polar Express and Disney!

Kelcie has extensive experience in many arenas of therapy, including mobile therapy, behavioral coordination, community mental health, school-based mental health, and substance abuse counseling.

She also has a degree in Communication Disorders to assist clients that have specific speech and/or language delays or diagnoses.

Specialized training in LGBTQIA+ affirming care and addiction treatment, offering a uniquely supportive environment for clients exploring identity while navigating recovery and life challenges.
