Daniel Corbin is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping adults navigate life’s challenges. His therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Daniel works with individuals who are seeking to overcome anxiety, improve relationships, or address addiction, offering a structured and supportive environment for healing and growth.
With a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Duquesne University, Daniel brings both expertise and empathy to his work. He is a Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional Counselor and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, qualifications that speak to his extensive training in treating individuals facing overlapping mental health and substance use challenges. He also supports clients struggling with depression, men’s issues, life transitions, grief, and job-related stress.
Daniel’s goal is to help clients explore their strengths, find deeper meaning and purpose, and identify what’s standing in the way of a more fulfilling life. “I aspire to help clients move toward greater happiness and wellness. Reflection and insight alone don’t bring change, but when insight is paired with action, meaningful transformation can happen.”
Outside the therapy room, Daniel enjoys watching and playing basketball and spending time with his wife and two children. His practical, compassionate approach and his deep understanding of co-occurring issues make him a trusted guide for those on the path to personal growth and emotional wellness.
Daniel is a co-founder of South Hills Counseling with his wife, Meghan.
He is a Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional Counselor and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor utlizing Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) methods.
Daniel is a native of the South Hills of Pittsburgh, with degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University.
