Courtney Schilinski is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with young adults up to any age, providing a safe place for the LGBTQIA+ community. Her therapeutic approach incorporates CBT, person-centered, solution-focused, and mindfulness techniques. Courtney's personal goal as a therapist is for her clients to leave feeling more confident in their decision to take that time to put themselves first. "We live in an extremely fast-paced world and so my hope would be to provide skills to my clients to allow them to slow down and to be able to reserve some time each day for themselves in whatever capacity that is."

With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania, Courtney brings a solid educational foundation to her work. She also supports clients dealing with stress, depression, OCD, and trauma.

She follows the motto of, "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." -Eleanor Roosevelt, believing it can be a jump start into therapy for many.

Outside the therapy room, Courtney enjoys playing pickleball, attending trivia nights, and getting outside when Pittsburgh weather allows for it.

  • Courtney's goal is to create a space where any and all can feel comfortable, without feeling judged.

  • She recognizes that life—as beautiful as it can be at times—can also be extremely challenging, and believes you shouldn't have to face it alone.

  • Courtney emphasizes that there is no shame in having support, someone to be a sounding board, and to help guide you to accomplishing your goals.
