Chuck Cribben is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has spent his career working with adolescents, adults, families, and couples. His therapeutic approach draws from Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Family Therapy, and Couples Therapy. Chuck works with clients to help them navigate life without the excess symptoms they are experiencing.
With a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling, Chuck has been working in the mental health field since 2012. He started his professional journey at Southwood Hospital (Pediatric Inpatient Hospital) and eventually moved on to Family Based Services. He is trained in behavioral therapy, multi-systemic family therapy, and Gottman therapy. He also supports clients with Humanistic Counseling and Adolescent Counseling.
Chuck's goal is to help clients gain a better understanding of themselves and then use that understanding to better themselves and those around them. "My favorite quote is from a movie, 'What man is a man who does not make the world better?' My hope for all the clients I work with is that they gain a better understanding of themselves and then use that understanding to better themselves and those around them."
Outside the therapy room, Chuck enjoys riding his motorcycle, weekend getaways with his wife, and spending as much family time as possible.
Chuck has a unique perspective on how the knowledge gained in life impacts current thinking and the ability to relate to others.
He understands why we think the way we do, either individually or as it relates to others.
Chuck has a practical, down-to-earth approach to therapy that helps clients create the positive change needed to experience a better life.
