“Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren’t always comfortable but they’re never weakness” – Brene Brown
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, working with adolescents and adults in individual counseling, helping individuals with a variety of mental health diagnoses, though I specifically have experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder. I utilize a variety of treatment methods including DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), motivational interviewing, and CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy).
I completed my B.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University, with my internship being completed at Moore Counseling and Mediation Services, primarily working with dual diagnosis adults along with other concerns within the adult population. I understand that being vulnerable in session to address mental health concerns is uncomfortable, but only when we face those struggles can we start to see improvement. I look forward to beginning your therapy journey with you!
