Upper St. Clair office
The hardest part of this journey is taking the risk to ask for help. It is not an easy task to allow yourself to become vulnerable. My job is to help you find the answers you are looking for to live the life you want and deserve.
I am a Licensed Professional Therapist and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology and from Carlow University with a Masters in Professional Counseling.
I have worked in several treatment settings working with children, adolescents, and adults with mental health disorders, eating disorders, and drug and alcohol disorders. More specifically, I am trained to help individuals diagnosed with Depressive Disorders, Bipolar I and II, Adjustment Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Panic Disorders, ADD, ADHD, Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating, and Personality Disorders. My experience has involved treating individuals with substance use disorders, mood disorders and anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and relationship issues.
My counseling focus is rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy and person centered therapy, creating a safe and therapeutic environment. It is important to me to create a safe space that allows the individual to explore, process, and create change. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors enjoying nature and running marathons.
